Commodore Auto Dismantlers aim to provide not just quality parts, but also peace of mind. 
As part of our quality control (unless stipulated otherwise), all engines are compression tested or verified to be of good working order before dismantling takes place.

Unless otherwise stipulated, all advertised Mechanicals have been tested and presented in good working prior to dismantling and come with a 30-day warranty.

All Electrical items sold, have been deemed in good working order prior to dismantling. All electricals such as (but not limited to) : Stereos / Navigational Systems / BCM / ECU / Clusters  etc do not come with warranty.

Should you have a problem with an engine, gearbox, differentials etc.  please do not dismantle! 
These components are only warranted whilst they are intact.
All guarantee and warranties are null and void if the assembly is dismantled.

Incorrect or poor fitting of parts, failure to carry out proper maintenance, burnouts, drag racing, modifications or improper use will void warranty.

• All parts need to be fitted by a licensed repairer / mechanic or your WARRANTY IS VOIDED

• All goods must be returned to Commodore Auto Dismantlers for inspection prior to the warranty being acted upon.

• Broken or damaged gears in gearboxes and differentials are NOT Covered 

• All turbos are guaranteed to work at start up only.

• Electricals and all Computer components are NOT warranted.

COMMODORE AUTO DISMANTLERS WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR:
• Any labor / towing costs or part replacement

• Any damage caused by incorrect installation​

• Any costs of unauthorized repair work

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE POINTS WILL NULL AND VOID ANY WARRANTY GIVEN.

Retain your tax invoice/receipts as any claims, warranty or trade-in will not be allowed unless accompanied by this.. Trade ins are at the Managers Discretion. 

 

WARRANTY TERMS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE. Terms of the warranty are accepted as part of the sale.

• Parts will only be accepted back in the condition they left the workshop.
• ALL RETURNS TO BE MADE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF PURCHASE DATE.
• Panels, parts and wheels are sold as inspected and once fitted the part cannot be returned.
• It is up to the customer to ensure the correct make, model and body type is given, and we cannot be held responsible for wrong information.
• You are not entitled to a refund if you simply change your mind or make wrong choice.
• No credit will be provided to any items that are specifically procured for a purchase.
• 50% restocking fee applies to all returns.
 

INSTALLATION OF AN ENGINE / GEARBOX / TRANSMISSION OR MECHANICAL PART MUST BE DONE BY A LICENSED MECHANIC WHO SHOULD NOTE THE FOLLOWING POINTS:
• Ensure cooling system is in good condition, check radiator, hoses, cap, thermostat etc.
• Use the correct oil and lubricants and keep them at the correct level
• Replace oil, fuel and filters
• Timing belts should be checked before installation and replaced, if necessary, warranty DOES NOT cover damage done by a timing belt failure
• All seals must be checked and recommended to be replaced (NOTE: leaking seals are not covered by warranty).
• Use of after-market ECU 
• after-market ECU or tuned engines VOIDS warranty
• Water pumps need to be checked for wear or corrosion and replaced if necessary.
• Lifters are NOT covered in LS based engines.
• Freight damage will NOT be covered by Commodore Auto Dismantlers.
